Taking place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, Our Sonic Landscape is a one-day game audio conference happening in Vancouver, BC.
This is a paid event, but we’re working on keeping prices as low as we can. We just want to cover the costs of putting on a fun event. We will be holding back a number of tickets for those who might be having financial struggles.
We’re aiming for Our Sonic Landscape to be a yearly event here in Vancouver and hope you can join us for this first edition!
Our speakers for this year are:
Andy Niles - Creature Vocal Tips and Tricks for Sound Designers
Bonnie Bogovich - Our Instruments Are Made of Meat - Don't overcook your Vocalists
Starling Tan - The Erhu and Belonging
Star Victoria Power (aka Slide20XX) - The Solution is Money: A Practical Approach to Diversity in Game Audio
Rodrigo Robinet - Creating through the Haptic Lens
Megan Frazier - Chasing Yellow: A Sound Designer's Quest for Incorporating Play into Their (Mostly) Daily Workflow
Paul Boechler - The Practice of Audio
Jon Fish - The Game Audio Journey
Crowd Sourced Micro Talks!
